How high have you gone?

How high have you ever physically played??

It doesn't have to be successfully played, or played there long term, or be properly BR'ed for it, I was just wondering how high people had taken shots or were tilted and moved up to, maybe even a drunken rampage?

It could even be a BR crushing level that set you back a year worth of grinding.

600nl. got it in with a set v fd, he hit -> -600

then lost another 300 when i got it in with kk v flopped 2 pair to successfully halve my bankroll in less than an hour.

nothing to some but I've only moved to 100nl in the past 2 weeks

Although I was just wondering are we all BR nits on this site, or do we have many gamblers?

My 5/10 shot actually went well, I sat with 300 (LOL annoying short stacker!!) and I won 1.5k after reaching a Hi point of +3.5k which was nice the following morning, but too many times I've woken up the next day to see I've decimated my roll with some mental 2/4 or 3/6 HU games (where I don't short stack

), and I know I'm doing it at the time, but just don't give a fcuk, my latest escapade this weekend has brought me back to exactly even for the last 6 months (not including RB I've earned this month)!!

10/20 one night last year after I won a huge tourney on PPP. Won two pots and my mate convinced me to leave the table after we seen some guy lose 1k+ in one hand. He was probably right lol

I developed a habit of taking drunken shots....
when I eventually bought pokertracker I found out how much it actually cost me!! :eek:
Had a quite profitable spin up at 3/6 PLO one night.
Its was a very odd table full of shortstackers, I bought in full and busted the table

I voted 10/20 but I think I actually jumped in a 20/40 game on tribeca once back when I thought I was gods gift to poker.

sucessfully played 100/200 limit - only played it once! - made 8k and ran away vowing never to play that fishie game again!!

Have technically played 25/50, but it was only against a short-stacked uberfish so that doesn't really count

Should have made it clear, this poll obviously related to NL and PL only, I'm not sure what the equivalent levels for Limit are, but I know 100/200 NL is a MUCH bigger game then 100/200 Limit.

Anyone that knows maybe post a comparison, I think I remember reading somewhere that .50/1 NL is roughly equivalent to 3/6 Limit, is this correct or am I way off??

Never ever played higher than 3-6 even when I have had the cash to do it. My mate who is really bad at cards, once lodged 200 euro transfered into $$ and started at 1-2 and ended up playing 5-10 then 10-20 and was up to 2k. He has lost all that money since, lol. He has done something like this once or twice though.

I played a few hands of 50/100, but not with a full stack. The biggest games I've played have been 25 50 and 20 40, I'm not really bankrolled for either but don't mind taking shots especially live.

5/10 Limit which turned into 5/10 PL live in Malta. Never even considered anything like that elsewhere

Online I took a shot at 3/6 PLO on one occasion, drunk. It didn't work out well

only playing poker 4 months and only ever deposited $100 so nothing crazy for me. Hit $200nl on PPP in a spinup attempt from money I had in my sport account....4 bet some guy all-in with A10 when he had KK (tilty mcspew) and stacked him, then lost it all in similarly spewy fashion. I'm keeping the higher levels as a surprise for when I reach them fully rolled. Still not played a hand live. Anyone wanna stake me for the Belgian National Championship in 2 weeks....?

I shortstack 5/10 games online occasionally. Don't really pay much attention to bankroll and affordability of games proportional to it (gambler).

Best result was running 200 up to 6000 in a couple of hours on Irisheyes.

Ive played 10/20 live, ive played 1 session of 10/20 online and pretty much hit and run when I called a raise on he button from an uber aggo dude with 97 the flop came 10 8 6 and I got it all in against his top set and held up. I ran.

Ive played some 5/10 plo also, not much but ive played some.
