what speakers are ye using with 360/PS3?

Hey folks,

Gotta get speakers for use with console (monitor doesn't have av or optical input).

So I said I'd ask here - what are you folks using?

Any recommendations?

may i be the first of many to recommend these.
i use them for tv/dvd/xbox

Optical cable from the back of the HD cable straight to the back of the speaker control unit.
I first tested them on CoD2 on the mission where you are crossing the river while get mortar bombed.
The room shock everytime one landed close to me

You won't be able to get 5.1 from the first linked speakers on the 360 as far as I know because they're designed for computers, so don't have optical!!

I have these. Same as the 5500's for the most part, less powerful I believe, but the rear speakers are wireless which is very nice!
