I just got delivery of this monitor today. Now I already knew I had to upgrade my graphics card on my ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe motherboard in order to fully support it. I purchased a MSI NX7300GT TD256 graphics card which is DDR2 AGP 8 card which has dual link DVI and can support the resolution of 2560 x1600 from a local pc store today but alas it isn't working for me i.e. My pc won't boot up with it :(. It might perhaps have something to do with the voltage of the card but I wasn't able to find out what the voltage of the card was or perhaps it's some other sort of incompatibility.

Anyway I reinserted my older ATI Radeon 9600 card and the DVI connection actually works with this monitor. But the resolution only works up to 1028x764(which looks bizarre to say the least), going higher than that and it all goes a bit haywire. Just wondering if having a dual-link dvi cable going to a single dvi connector is potentially damaging!?

Anyone know which ones of the newer AGP cards would be compatible with my motherboard?

The Radeon X1950 Pro will certainly work. Well, it worked in mine before I upgraded. Still have the card somewhere...

The card I got works. It was my fault, first time I came across a card that needed a power connector attached.
