Latest MAME and hiscore.dat ?

Hi all, I had MAME 0.71 on my Arcade Cab and I've just updated my Arcade PC and put MAME 0120 on it. I'm using the Athlon XP optimized build also. Anyhoo.... I've put the latest unofficial hiscore.dat file in the same dir as MAME but it's not saving my High Scores (This worked fine with my old 0.71) Has something changed ?

I think highscore functionality has been removed from the main Mame release.
You need to use savestates now.

Or I think you could try another build like Mame23 plus with highscore support added back in to the latest releases.
