If in the majority of cases women are fat because they eat too much and don't exercise, then we can say that generally, fat women are slobs. The word generally allows for exceptions, but implies majority.

but so far that hasnt been said its been they are fat...

    no generally...

I wear size 14 tops simply because I have big boobs, I wear size 12 trousers which hang off my ass and are all loose and billowy around my thighs but I can't wear a size 10 pants because that would be too tight for my waist (not the narrowest!)
    sounds juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust right. pics please.

    Why thank you nice1franko!

I'm very lucky to have big boobs, a pert ass and slim legs, but the price for that is a bastard of a stomach.

Sleepy, honestly it was about big or fat...

I want to know i had asked before i posted that no one answered...

so i gave choice and was going to do another...

If i ask wanted to know who was hotter when i would have. but its not about hotter,

I concider myself to be big but i am a picky person and times and i will have a go at myself, my partner considers me to be big but not fat, for my height i am over weight, for myself i am happy, but what does the www consider big, and what is no longer big but fat or is it the same?
Well, the two options you gave were basically a little overweight versus anorexic, it was rather a loaded question...

If you're using Nicole Ritchie at one end of the spectrum you have to use someone like Dawn French or Roseanne Barr on the other end.

A fairer comparison might be Kiera Knighly contrasted to Kate Winslet - slightly too thin versus slightly overweight. And to give my own answer to that question - can't I just have both? ;)

My ironing-board-stomached mate and I are working on a strategy where I could somehow transfer my stomach into her double A chest. It's going well... If slowly.

    Kiera Knightly, by a mile.
Oh wait, was this an actual question, or just a long winded point.

According to most size guides I'd be a 14-16, yet I don't own anythng bigger than a 12. I'd be mainly a size ten, even though my waist is about 28-29 inches, my bust is 35-36 and my hips are 40-41. Go figure!

By the way, if you think I need to lose weight.....

Oh, and Scarlett Johansson, by a mile! She's ten times more beautiful than Keira Knightly, possibly because there's ten times less of Keira.

I think Keira has a nicer face, but Scarlett has the most amazing figure.

    this thread makes me lol

i used to think i couldn't get any smaller because of my ribcage/hips.
guess what? i learned how to exercise properly and lost two inches of fat around my chest i was kidding myself wasn't there. this loss included added muscle mass from learning to bench properly.

too many women are all about the excuses. i'm sorry, but its just ****ing ridiculous. either accept your weight and dont moan or get off your fat ass and do something. big boned medical condition blah blah ****e.
i'm not 'lucky' i dont have a faster metabolism than you, i'm on the pill (another excuse alot of women use). i just found out what i was doing wrong, accepted it, and put more effort in.

Granted, and there are some women who use excuses when they're just lazy.

But it's as simple as you can't lose bone!

*chuckles* Course they can, if you have arms and legs you can do something.

Medical conditions? Indeed. They make thing a lot harder, they don't make things impossible.

One of the dudes who posts on Team Test has a medical condition that limits how much protein he can eat.....and he's still busting his ass in the gym and doing what he can to add muscle.

    Now thats some inspiring **** right there.....oh.....wait.....he's a dude.....that doesn't count.

...ah the ould fat chicks thread. It's been a while.

The upshot is, no-one digs fat chicks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 848 ✭✭✭Dinxminx

    Zulu, you made me lol!

Dragan, shush! What if someone (eg. a mother) simply doesn't have the time to put into trying to lose the weight that she's put on partly because of a medical condition?

yeah i'm guessing most women convince themselves they have more bone than they do. did you not read my post? i thought i couldn't lose the 'bone' either

i'm sorry, but the women with ACTUAL medical conditions are minimal, and as Dragan said, it just makes things a little harder, not impossible.

as far as i can see this thread is just full over overweight women trying to justify it to themselves.

Time? Thats the most common excuse. if you have kids, play with them. I guarantee they are fitter and have more energy than their parents.

Quality time can be excercise time.

Excuses can be found where ever people WANT to find them.

I know that sounds harsh, but i grew up with two working parents, a father who would regularly pull 80+ hours weeks and who still made the gym 3 times a week.

My mother work a part time job, looked after us little bastards and had a medical condition that has nearly been the end of her twice. She still went walking every day.

guess what? nothing in life is fair. get over it.

Seraphina, just because you lost the weight you wanted to lose (and well done for that) doesn't mean everybody can. I agree, a lot of people make excuses, but some genuinely can't! And I know it's only a tiny minority, but they still count!

    You're truly amazing....

    Super intelligent!

Can take a load of drugs and have a super life!

    Not a shred of weight!

It must be great to look at the world and think to yourself, there's only one person in it.
