I'm doing home study for ACCA Dec exams. I have a few friends doing the courses in college so can get notes from them but i'm looking for the books. I can't seem to find the Irish stream books online. I've emailed BPP so waiting for them to come back to me but does anyone know where I can get F6 and F7 IRL stream books?? The only ones that come up when I google it is UK and INT.

    Hi Scoot On,

There are no actual irish variant books available for both those exams you are sitting. If you know people going to classes photocopy their notes. Having completed F7 myself last June, if you use the UK Variant books there won't be much of a difference in the exam only that the figures will be in €.

    Best of luck with it!

    Perfect. Thanks Jockey.

I'll get the UK ones so. What did you make of F7?

F6 is taxation, right? Don't get the UK books for those as totally different. Just use your friends notes. BPP have a book (plus revision text) which you can buy for the princely sum of €200. I paid this amount as I didn't know anybody doing them in college. Anyway, it seems to be just the lecturers handouts pinned together, sometimes had mistakes (e.g. things not updated from previous year) so if you can get them from your friends that should be grand. Sometimes it's just nice to have everything together though.
