What happened, I thought she was supposed to be on the show tonight ? Was the item dropped or did she chicken out ?

I believe The book is about Her Dad and her relationship to him, Martin Cahill aka The General

So she is looking to cash in on her criminal father. I wouldn't buy the book in this case.

To be fair, I think she's trying to say her father was more than just a criminal; he was a loving father to her, according to her account.

While her view of Cahill may be too glowing, she has a right to her say, and not everything's about money.

This is true, but he was a serious scumbag criminal. People have the right to ignore her and not buy her book too.

Read in the paper the other day that when asked if she would be on the Late Late this week, RTE said no, but didn't say she wouldn't be on it at all

I saw The Sun had a world exclusive yesterday - the headline was something like "Martin Cahill was a monster".

I thought, wow, really? What with all that criminal activity he was involved in I hadn't really noticed! Was obviously published to counter-act this new book, which I imagine a rival paper has a deal to serialise.

has anyone seen any extracts from the book?? could be a good story if written well... but i somehow doubt that!!

To honour the memory of Martin Cahill, everyone should steal the book.

Personally I wouldn't buy anything from her or anyone of her family. All it serves to do is to turn scumbags and criminals into some sort of Celebrities. I don't really care if she was not involved in any of the crimes, she's looking to make money from the legacy of her Criminal scumbag father.
Would you pay to go to the movies to see films like Goodfellas or Chopper?
