Want to buy nuts for cooking/baking, any suggestions were to buy them. The small packs in the supermarket are quite expensive.

    Thanks

Tesco value salted roasted peanuts are very cheap, think it is 39cent for 200g, €1.95 per kilo. I have never seen them cheaper, even sacks in pet shops!

You can get ready shelled pistachios & cahews for about €10-12 per kilo in asian food shops in town.

Munster Wholefoods are on the Tralee to Killarney road just outside Farranfore.

Try Aldi and Lidl. They usually offer excellent deals on baking ingredients.
