Listening to mp3s in the car from a mobile?

Is there any way to listen to mp3's from a mobile in a car? I know of fm transmitters...would one of these work with a mobile? Just a long shot, thanks.

depends on the mobile and radio

i have a headphone adapter for my phone, and a line in connection to the back of the radio

an fm transmitter should work with an adapter for the phone, but fm transmitters don't always give good results

I actually found something!!!!

There's an official Sony Ericsson MMR-60 FM Transmitter. It runs off the phone's battery. Amazing! I thought there was no way there'd be such a thing and certainly not an official Sony one.

had a belkin transmitter, it worked well if positioned close to the radio and if a frequency with no noise or other signals could be found. So I'd say if its setup right or in a certain way it should work okay.

then you could use a wireless transmitter with better reviews and maybe powered by the cigarette lighter socket
