Hi, I was just wondering is there anyone knocking around that would have a look at a water damaged dell latitude laptop I have just been given. I'd like to find out how extensive the damage is and if its worth repairing, willing to pay goes without saying. Thanks

I've used Computers Unlimited in Phibsboro.
They charge around €45 to assess the damage and provide estimate of repair costs.

    Hey,

I can do that for you if you like. Give us a PM with details; What was spilt where, what happens if you turn it on?

Im down in Waterford, not sure if thats a problem

I second Computers Unlimited, for cleaning a damaged LCD on a laptop that had red wine spilled directly on it. They did a good job.

Thanks for the replies, I might try that place. Unfortunately I'm in Dublin so I wouldn't be able to get it to you in Waterford but thanks a lot for the offer.

If you cant make it down, then id go with the other suggestions above. Its clear from the posts that Computers Unlimited knows its stuff and customers are happy. :)
