When I turn it on first thing the moniter's glowing white. Sometimes turning on and off the moniter fixes it but other times I have to restart the pc several times. As the white is appearing sometimes I can make out the normal screen underneath. Do I need a new moniter, twenty one months old. Any idea what could be wrong?

Type: LCD or CRT? (Although I'd guess CRT with a problem like that)
    Connection: DVI or VGA?
    Graphics Card: ?
    Motherboard make: ?

Only happen when the computer is starting? So when the graphics card is under the control of the OS it's okay?
