    Don't use WU .....

I have a feeling it's almost banned on eBay? .....

PayPal is certainly the best way to pay ..... but a registered letter with a 'An Post' sterling draft is quick .....

Hope your going to post photo's and then a video as soon as your up and running ..... :)

    WU .....
    Instant Cash Transfer Services

Pay safely online by never using instant cash transfer services such as Western Union or MoneyGram International to pay for your eBay purchases. These payment methods are unsafe when paying someone you do not know

    source ...... http://pages.ebay.com/securitycenter/mrkt_safety.html

about half way down the page ....

I am sure you can squeeze in a "AA" set in there though. If not
you could go after a set of >> THESE << :D
I have a set in my CRT.. Great cells ;)

OK batterys charge everything is working except the engine
I fill the tank with fuel and go to start, the engine won't turn over so i take off the glowplug and the engine spins with plenty of power from the little electric motor but when i put the glow plug back on the same thing happens it just wont turn over.
Its NOT flooded i know this as when I took out the glow plug several times I span the engine upside down and no fuel came out. Im guessing the engine is too tight, would a hairdryer have any effect on this?
BTW the fuel is OK and plug is OK and it is a new OS 18TM.

OK i think I have a theroy why it wasen't starting:
I noticed as I primed the eninge no fuel was going into the carb. So I took the fuel line that was going into the carb off and blew into the presure line, the fuel then came spurting out.

I then put the fuel line back onto the carb, opening the trottle fully I blew through the presure line again, the fuel went in, so the only thing blocking the fuel flow was oviously the low speed needle. I losened it a few turns out so fuel could get into the engine even when the trottle was at rest.

The reason it wasen't turning over was Im guessing is when I was priming it,(finger over exhuast) it wasen't able to suck fuel in. Just like when you suck the gas out of a bottle, theres no more left and it goes nowhere.

    But to the good news:)
Its running prefect, 10 tanks gone through it, probly a little tight but the things flying, second gear is scarey since i put in the wide ratio gear:eek:
Now im looking forward for the crt, he got the money today.
    From size .18 to .30:cool:

    OR
get two. One to use and one as an extra?

Do they have to be Team Magic?
    I can get others for £10 & P&P they are 1600 Mah.

I just always bring another battery like for example the battery wastes and I just put in the other one(which would be jacked up fully) and ready for more action.
About the ones for a tenner plus post and package, they sound ok.

Hi guys. My revo is still not quite right tuning wise.
I took a video of what it is doing. It is not reving out fully all of the time but then sometimes it will. Does this mean that it is too rich or to lean?
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbaM0vc_kPQ
    Thanks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,248 ✭✭✭Plug

Straight away I tell by the sound that its revving too high and it's really lean. I would say richen the high speed needle(losen) a full turn out.
Try again from there and see what happens.
Also does it cut out on you when you leave go of the trottle for a few seconds?

I wolud say NO to one full turn out.. Remember that this is a TRX engine we are talking about and as such they rare very tricky with big turns on the needles. ;)

What i meant to say is 1 turn out and tune from there:o

One turn out and it might not start again for him. Give it maybe 1/4 turn out ( left )
    See how it goes then.;)

we'll just have to wait for the verdict then.

Off topic but I was out with the revo last night and a taxi driver came up to me, he was completly upsessed with it, he was there for an hour looking at it:D

The HSN doesn't come into play before the transition phase, i.e. 1/4 throttle or so, so it should start however rich the HSN is set to.
