What a gig! Hardest working drummer in music I think....I really don't know how he could do that night in night out on the road!

Yeh excellent gig.. think this was the best Id seen them. What was with the huge delays picking up tickets at the door though? I gather the late start was due to people still stuck outside trying to pick up their tickets.

I asked the girl and she said that tickets.ie delivered a huge bunch of tickets for collection and they weren't in any order

Apparently the tickets at the door weren’t in any type of order. My friend went up said his name and they just started leafing through about 200 envelopes which weren’t sorted alphabetically or anything. They found one with his name and handed it to him. He opened it and there were 4 tickets inside when he had only ordered one. Turns out it was someone else’s envelope. Things like that just cause tons of headaches.

Gig was fantastic. Right up the front with plenty of room. It was bloody hot though.

(This is a reply I've also posted on over Thumped.com.)

Tickets.ie has been in existence for three years now and we have handled ticketing for hundreds of small to medium sized events - from the RDS to Whelans, National Show Centre to TBMC.

We always deliver our tickets in alphabetical order (sorted by last name). (The tickets are automatically printed in alphabetical order.)

For the Battles' show, I printed and delivered the tickets myself and they were in alphabetical order when I handed over to the venue's box office manager. Once the tickets are handed over, it's the responsibility of the box office to look after them until they are collected.

    - John.
