Downloaded podcasts manually, now how to get them back into itunes?

    My 3 bb connection keeps fluctuating so I have downloaded a load of podcasts manually to my pc. Usually I download through itunes, making it easy to view them afterwards and put onto the ipod.

    Now, when I click on the mp3 files, they open and play through itunes, but appear at the top of the 'music' section. I have right clicked the track, and selected 'get info' to edit the genre to make it 'podcast', but this has no effect.

    I would be grateful of your suggestions? (I hope this is the right forum, if not apologies, mod, please feel free to move it)

    i have had similar problems with tryin to do this over the years and have yet to find a solution!

    I noticed the same to, I don't think there's anything you can do about it. I've tried putting the files into the same folder as the rest of the podcasts but with no success.
