The more I interact with people on the internet, the more I hate acronyms like "lol", "OMG!" and "roflcopter". Does anyone else find them really obnoxious? Oh, and the first person to reply with "lol" will be shot. I will then feed their corpse to my cats.

my friend years ago was on a chat room called Palace Chat and ever since, if he found something funny he would say 'lol'. for ages I didn't know wtf he was saying until I started going on teh intarwebz
