    Hi all,
I need to create a CD that will run on both UNIX and Windows.
Is it possible to burn a CD that will preserve the unix file permissions (namely execute permission on .sh files) ?
    Thanks !
    M.

I don't think the iso standard records this information. If not, I'd say your best bet is to burn an uncompressed tarball (this will definitely store the information you require). Winzip can view tarballs.
