    Hi,
Going to Lake Garda 14 - 21 September. I'm really looking forward to it. I believe I've missed outdoor opera season in Verona.. and, seeing as Lake Garda is right by the alps, now I'm wondering what to Pack!

Anyone been there around that time? What'll the weather be like?
Any recommendations on what to do/see?

    Where are you staying?

I'm going back on 12th Septmber for 5 nights, was there in June this year, and August last year. Needless to say I like the place! :)

Dont know about the weather is September, from what I've read it should be good, 26 degrees if we're lucky. The alps shield it from the clolder winds apparently.

There's loads to do, not least swimming in the beautiful lake waters and sunbathing/relaxing. Depending on where you're staying I could give you some tips.

I was there in late september a few years ago. weather was warm, thunder showers every afternoon at about 3:30, cleared by teatime.

we were staying at the bottom left od the lake. We visited Salo - pretty
swam in the lake about half way up and toured around the lake.

    went to Sirmione- fabulous.

Went to Verona another time, it's just over an hour from Venice by train if you wanted to check venice out.
verona's impresive. it's grafton st is made of marble...
The colliseum is very impressive too.
