Nokia ASIC 11 phones !

These type of Nokia phones can only be unlocked by acquiring the unlock code from your network provider or by unlocking shop.

hey, sorry if this is a really stupid post but im a bit thick when it comes these things - I have a Nokia 6021 Vodafone that I need to unlock. IMEI 355687009576732.

From a previous post I know the codes req'd to unlock but my question is - what do you do with these codes - i dont have a sim in the phone and when i type in the codes nothing happens, i press call button and still the same

Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong?

How to Enter your Unlock Codes

1. Remove SIM CARD !
2. Type #
3. Then press the * key 3 times (you should get a "p")
4. Then press the * key 4 times (you should get a "w")
5. Then press the * key 2 times (you should get a "+")
6. Then enter code
7. Then press the * key 2times(you should get a "+")
8. Then enter: 1 or 7
9. Enter: #

Some newer firmware Nokias need a sim inserted or the code does nothing
Insert a sim card and try again

Code only from network, otherwise requires hardware unlock

I have a nokia 6101 i have locked to vodafone in australia but need it unlocked to 02 now i'm home. i got unlocking codes and tried both but got nowhere. can someone help?

well i turned my phone off and took out the sim and then powered it on. i put in the codes and it came up as " Code Error"..

Any ideas??

If you have not used all your attempts that will work
If all your attempts are used, you will get something like "cannot undo restriction"
