verisoft finger print and firefox

hi all, I have an HP tablet pc with verisoft fingerprint recognition, which is handy for logging onto sites. However, I just downloaded Firefox on recommendation and verisoft does not seem to be working with it. Is there a way to get the finger print reader to pop up automatically in firefox like it does in IE7? thanks Bnev
