I received a Hogwarts letter in the post?!!? SCAM?

Doesnt ask for money - just says to enroll I have to send back a letter by owl before the end of the middle of the month.

No reply address...like theres no point for them sending it....

OP, it's Hogwarts alright and it's enrolling tomorrow so you better get moving quickly. The train to it leaves from Heuston, platform 6 2/3. The entrance is the pillar there between platforms 6 & 7 - you'll need to charge at it at high speed to break the concealment spell (for the muggles) and reach the Hogwarts train. Remember, the spell is powerful so if you don't succeed the first time, try repeatedly charging at that pillar until you get that train!

Tell me, what did you really expect when posting this in the first place? Of course you're going to get the p.ss ripped out of you - a) this is the internet...b) it's pretty easy going considering some of the p.sstaking that happens....c) did you read your original post......d) most people who come on here have a sense of humour.

Man i have googled the sh*t out of it too and cant find anything about it, if its nation wide then it has only broken today too cant find a trace of acceptance letters being send any where, i think there is a sorting office in portlaoise think its routed from dublin, well some one made an effort, love to know what the crack is.

nope. what im really saying is I was talking to my housemate online and he said i got a fancy letter from portlaoise, in green writing.

I said to him open it, cuz i know nodody from portlaoise. I'm hardly a Harry Potter fan by the way..

Nah he has pictures of the front of the envelope stamps/name/address everything, should check the paper quality , see if there is a water mark or anything, but there is no copyright marks no hogwarts logo very odd who would bother when there is nothing to gain???

well i have a pic of the envelope and its stamped in portlaoise with a stamp on it....so no..i dont think so

You talk a lot of crap and use txt spk quite a bit for someone with a degree.
