HP CP1700 - What are pinheads?

We have a printer thats located at a remote store and it saying that the pinheads need replacing. I cannot find anything relating to pinheads though on the internet. What are these and are they easy to replace? Thanks.

It's probably just complaining about the print cartridge.

try browsing the HP support site for useful print head checks. Updating your driver will probably give you a better message. i.e. you may be even using a driver for another product (that does use the pinhead term). Happened me before.
