    Hi everybody,

Im a former student of NUIG. Went to NUIG today to get some exam transcripts. Out of the blue, The woman asked me "are you going to Korea?" I was surprised at her astuteness, cos she was correct.

So obviously there's a lot of NUIG students following in the same footsteps as myself. I've been posting the next question on many different forums here (Korean forum, Teaching Forum) but can't get an answer. Hopefully one of you will know....(if you've taught in Korea)....

What steps does one have to go through to get their Degree certified? I did it last year with the help of an Irish recruiter. But im going it alone this year (no recruiter) and can't remember what exactly i did last year.

I remember getting my Degree copy Notarized by a Public Notary....then the rest is a blur.... i visited the 'Four Courts' and 'Dept of Foreign Affairs' and 'Korean Embassy' but can't remember in which order and for what exact reason. Can you clarify the exact steps please?

    Warm Regards.

Hi Shinto, you probably have found out how to Notarize your degree by now but if not, I suggest you click on the link below which will explain everything. Also encase you don't know this already make sure that you send your original transcripts in an envelope sealed by a university stamp otherwise your visa application won't be accepted.

    Good luck in Korea,

    Blade
