    anyone know of a place in cork that could repair a ripped zip.

    Not sure which places in Cork are any good, but there's a list of a couple of tent shops here. One of them'll probably sort you out.

    You could try the scout shop on mccurtain street, they'll send you in right direction if they can't. Isn't there a tent shop or something as well just off mccurtain st? I think it might also be an Army surplus store or something...
