Wii Remote Woes

I powered down the Wii with the button on the Wii remote. Pressed the button a little harder and longer than i normally do. Now the remote won't work. I just get the four blue lights flashing when I press a button.

The batteries are fairly fresh, so i know its not that.
I've tried pressing the two resynch buttons and all that happens is that the four blue lights just seem to continously flash while the resynch buttons are pressed.
I've tried the old engineers trick of powering down everything (both the console and the remote). Still no luck :mad:.

If anyone has little lights bulbs flashing above their head please share your thoughts

I had that problem the first day with my Wii, the problem sorted itself out after 2 days though.

Never happened again. Don't know what caused it or fixed it.

My firends Wiimote is doing that now over the past few days, and we can't work out whats wrong.

Could it be that the bluetooth is broke? And how can that be tested?

something similar happened me last week.

removed the power cable from the wii and the batteries from the remote.
waited a minute for everything to fully discharge.
put everything back together and powered on and it all wokred fine

give nintendo a call if that wont work for you

Yeah, I gave it a few days to fully discharge but when I tried it again today - nada.
I think a trip to Gamestop will be in order to see if they can do anything for me and then Nintendo as last resort.
