Said I would post a few Pics of the
Jing Gong Heckler & Koch G36C that I recently
got from eirsoft.ie for a bargain price.
    Excellent service and communication
and ya dont have the long wait of
    ordering from abroad.

I let about 20 of my workmates hold and check the G36 out
and each and everyone of them had the same reaction.
The first thing they said was "wow its heavy".
Its got a lovely solid and heavy feel to it.

The Finish is impressive. The Handguard is SOLID
and has a lovely textured and Matt finish to it.
    Same goes for the rails.

Comments are on top/Pics are below the comments.

The plastic bits are not as shiny as the Pics in real life:
    g361.jpg

The Fire selector switch is Solid. It clicks and locks in place when going
from safe to auto. But when going from auto to single fire or from safe
to single fire its a bit "iffy" you dont get a noticeable click to let you know
    its positioned correctly.
    g36-square.jpg

The Right side of the body is impressive there is a plastic lug where the
folding stock engages. I am not too sure about the strength of this
so dont like locking the stock to the body:
    g36-rightview.jpg

The Rail underneath the Handguard is Metal and Solid and the G36 would look
great with a flashlight or Laser
    g36-underrail.jpg

The Toprail is long and solid too. I plan on getting an Red Dot Reflex scope
either open or tubed but cant for a while until I pay off my bills
    g36-tporail.jpg

The blank saquare like smooth bit is a bit weird. I dont know what
is function is on the real-steel.
    g36-square.jpg

The front of the hand guard has threaded holes to allow you to add
more rails at either side left and right:
    g36-railhole.jpg

The Front of the G36 is nice and mean looking very solid Metal barrel and
    flash eliminater:
    g36barrel.jpg

I am not a fan of folding stocks but each to their own.
When folded the G36 looks a little weak. The Hinge section exposed
made it look a little delicate even if it may have not have been:
    g36-folding.jpg

The Cocking handle is nicely tucked away under the top rail/handle and
when you pull it back (it only pulls back a little bit) leaves you
    acess the hop up system.
    g36-cockingleaver.jpg

The next few pics are important to new owners. The back sight is made
from a very brittle alloy. There are two actual apertures. One is nice
and solid but the other is very thin. You can flip one up to change
from one aperture to the other. But one is always up. when the weaker
one is up the back sight protectors don't protect it.
During transport I had the G36 in a bag and when I got home I found
the weaker of the two sights had broken off. I tried to super glue it
back on but it broke of over and over again. The Design of it is bad
because it rotates back so the weaker of the two sights is down but can
be snapped off if any backward pressure is put on the strong one.
    g36-backsight2.jpg
    g36brokensight.jpg
You can see the thickness difference in the below pics between the sights:
    g36-backsight.jpg

The Magazines a light plastic and they clip together which is neat.
They hold 470 BB's each and need to be winded a bit when you empy
half the mag. As they are Hi-Caps they are noisy. I would love
to get the drum 3000 cap magazine and this Airsoft gun would be ideal
for light support where firing from a fixed position:
    336hicap3.jpg
    g36-hicap1.jpg

Over all the G36 fired at 320fps at Muzzle and dropped to about 250fps
    at 7meters/25ft ish.

After firing it for even just a few rounds I got that distinctive electric
motor kind of smell. I know the manuals all say this is normal for new guns
but I have not got the smell with any of my other AEG's Hopefully
this is nothing to worry about.

    hi guys

im a french guy who arrived in dublin a few weeks ago, and I might join the skirmishing in a few weeks :D

well since its the purpose of the topic, heres a few pictures of my stuff :

vfc hk 416 dx, with all the stuff i like to play around with
(the rifle now has a magpul miad and ctr)
    416-s.jpg
just love it. huge ROF, huge noise

    thats my star SL-9
i especially like my silencer "into the handguard" custom work
featuring big-ass illuminated 50' scope, with automatic flip-ups (damn neat thing)
    sl9-1.jpg
and laser inside the handguard (see the switch near the trigger)
    sl9-3.jpg
    --- edit --- [ about french limitations ]

i did a 450 fps / 12v upgrade on this gun (and mechanically disabled the full-auto)
in France the legal limit for airsoft is 2 joules so we put ourselves those limits to give snipers a slight advantage :
    - anything that has full-auto should not be higher than 350 fps
    - and snipers up to 450 fps (and mechanically restricted to semi-auto if its a sniper aeg)

so the gun stays in France and if i ever bring it here, ill downgrade it to 320fps.
just wanted to show it to you guys, of course I didn't mean to break the law.

    now for the handguns...

    hi4capa-s.jpg
the base of this custom is a tm hicapa 4.3, but i nearly changed everything on it.
the frame, grip, and lamp are in the same OD color and the rest is really black, its just the flash that messes up the colors

    hicapa01.jpg
    hicapa04.jpg
    marui hicapa 5.1
ive sanded the frame and several parts of the frame and security levers, also changed several parts. i really like the dual-tone style :o

now this is my 7 inch baby
    hi2capa01.jpg
this one isnt finished yet, but i still love it
ill completely remake the compensator, from a piece of aluminium or something, when i have some time...

and those 2 babies are my "CQB dual handgun special"
two maruzen p99 nbb, just love the noise they (dont) make:D
    p99.jpg

    that's all folks !
looking forward to meet you all in some trench under a shower of bb's, or around a nice bbq !

First off i'm only used to clone pistols so seeing the level of detail that goes into this pistol is amazing, take for example
    IMG_0412.jpg
    IMG_0416.jpg

really like the saftey on it its built into the trigger so no manual saftey catch ready to fire as soon as you pull the trigger
    IMG_0411.jpg

there is a rellay nice weight to it,
good kick back and it makes a lot of noise when fired
to be honest i've got a hell of a grin on my face just fire two mags through it, sweet as

    Good solid Build:

    aug2.jpg

Barell is lovely Matt and heavy look at those ridges and flash hider:
    aug12.jpg
    aug11.jpg

Stock has an ejection port on the right which hides hopup adjustment area:
    aug10.jpg

It has a rubber covering for lefties but it does not do anything.
    aug9.jpg

Reciever strips from main body to reveal this
    aug8.jpg

Magazine well is solid but BB's tend to get "lost" inside the stock and aeg and
rattle about as there is and opening or gap inside the magwell that allows them
to fall into the inside of the AEG. Also the Magazine hi-cap door opens up while
the mag is inserted and BB's fall out of it when moving it about:

    D'Boys M4A1 and M4CQB
    m4s.jpg

Rear sight fully ajustable for elevation and windage
    m4-rearsight.jpg

Fire selector swithch is ULTRA smooth
    m4-fire-selector.jpg

Hand Guard is very soild and strong.
    m4-cqb-hangguardunder.jpg
    m4-cqb-handguardtop.jpg

Flash Hider has a Gloss finish I dont like this:
    m4-cqb-flasheliminator.jpg

The CQB has a crane stock and you need a non-standard battery back
that has the cells split and they go into the tubes on the left and right
in the stock. Nasty set up I dont like:
    m4-cqb-cranestock.jpg

CQB back site. Pretty Cool and fully adjustable. Comes off without needing tools.
    m4-cqb-backsight.jpg

THe M4-A1 stock is much better. No Batteries here as on the A1 they
    are held in the handguard
    m4-a1-telecopestock.jpg

There is a seperate piece that comes with the M4-A1 that goes on the front
of it to hold the sling swivel. Its a bitch to get on as there are pins that
need to be forced into holes. It does not NEED to be present as there is
holes already on the M4 to install the front swivel
    m4-a1-slingfront2.jpg
    m4-a1-slingfront.jpg

I think anyone that ever watched the telly and saw an armalite (and thought everything was an M16) will universally recogzine the carrying handle.
    m4-a1-handle2.jpg
    m4-a1-handle1.jpg

Again on the M4 and also the barrell locking ring its a high gloss finish
    whats the story jack'n'ory.

Ok so I got the M1A1 Thompson on Saturday. Of course plastic "wood" furniture would never do so I got the ACM real wood fourniture with it.

To begin with when Shiva took the box out, I couldn't get over the size of the it, I was even more surprised to find the Thompson filled that box. On picking it up I was instantly pleased with the heft of the thing. She was nice and heavy and the plastic "wood" was of a very good quality, in fact it did actually look like wood so if you didn't want to fork out the 85 for the real wood you would still have a beauty to look at. As I said it was big and on putting it against a D-Boys M4 it was just as long. The stock and receiver are actually two thirds of the whole guns total length.

Before I even fired it or did anything with it, actually during my break at HRTA to be honest, I started to mount the real wood stock. Taking the plastic furniture off was simple. Then I realised I had to transfer over the sling swivels too. This is easy enough to do if you actually lay it all out and use the wood screws provided in the kit. I barrelled into it and tried screwing on the sling swivels with the screws from the plastic stock. After a few unsuccesful minutes I realised the error of my ways and it all went smoothly from there. The butt plate is held on with a single screw and transferred over simply. There was one of the two main screws though for mounting the stock to the reciever that refused to screw in.

On getting it home I discovered that the screw was supposed to screw into a plate inside the receiver but that comes loose when you unscrew the stock. I had to field strip the gun which is very simple, just press a button underneath the rear of the receiver and slide top of the receiver off. This gave me access to hold the plate in place and screw the offending screw in.

So now I discovered my only real gripe and it's not with the gun but rather the wood stock. On the plastic stock, to insert the battery you pull open a round flap on the butt plate which operates a latch that allows you pull the butt plate out and swivel it around on special hinge, giving you access to the battery compartment. With the wood stock there is no hinge and the buttplate is screwed into the stock. So every time you change the battery you have to unscrew the buttplate. Even if you wanted to transfer the hinge over to fix there is no space to transfer it.

After I had charged the battery and "installed" it I gave it a lash. The magazine only holds a pitiful 47 rounds so it's not much use as a primary weapon and as a backup the gun is too big. I'll definitely be ordering the 420 rd hi-caps or a drum mag if I can find one. I had no problems firing off a few magazines and the accuracy was spot on straight out of the box. The ROF is pretty low though which dissapointed me a little as a tommy gun should spit the bullets out but there is room to play with so you could install a bigger battery if you wanted to with a little modding. On the plastic stock a pliers would suffice, on the wood you would need to be a bit more hands on and use a router or craft tool like a dremel.

To sum it up though, all in all a nice looking gun, plenty of heft. Perfect for a WWII load out. It needs a hi-cap mag and with some mods you could install a bigger battery and improve ROF.

    My first AEG

    AGM M14 with Plastic stock.

This is a Heavy AEG. Its heavier and almost as long as my real steel rifle.
The Magazine is very solid feeling. The Trigger is strong and its trigger weight
feels great almost like a real military trigger. (Heavy) You feel like you
are squeezing a real trigger unlike other AEG's I have used. The Safety
catch is on the front of the trigger guard. I did not know this until one
of the lads here pointed it out to me. The Scope is real Niko Sterling 6-24x
56mm objective, side wheel focus with an illuminated mil-dot reticle.
Its tube is 30mm so I don't have high mount rings to mount it to the ris rail.
(I am not sure high mounts will even clear the rear iron sight)

    m14-2.jpg

    The Flash eliminator is metal:
    m14-3.jpg
The Gas chamber section is light plastic :(
    m14-4.jpg
Hop up is at the bottom inside the magazine housing.
    m14-5.jpg

Fire selector switch is weird, have been told to make sure its fully at either
fully or semi auto and not any place in between as it can damage the AEG.
    m14-6.jpg

Wider view of the cocking lever.
    m14-7.jpg

The Ris rail attached to the top of the receiver blocks propper use
of the iron sights. When you look through the back sight the post on the
    front sight is obscured.
    m14-8.jpg

The top front of the AEG is really cheap light flimsy plastic not nice
stamped steel would have been great but it is an el-cheap aeg.
    m14-9.jpg

Back sight is adjustable up/down/left/right be careful when fiddleing
as the screw that hold it in place comes loose with use.
    m14-10.jpg
    Cool......
    m14-11.jpg
Pulling back the cocking lever is great as a fake bolt cover moves left and back to expose the inside of the gearbox and also there is metal tube in front
of it that gets pulled back. This makes an impressive sound when you
    pretend to cock the M14
    m14-121.jpg

The Battery housing is really cool.
    m14-13.jpg
    m14-14.jpg

Over all. LONG, Heavy, Really Long Barrel giving fantastic accuracy.
I dont feel its solid enough to take with you on regular skirmishes unless
your doing a sniper role. The plastic just feels to light and breakable.
Its not like the really tough solid plastic ABS you would get on a JG G36.
    (only my opinion though)
