An Irish builder/construction contractor - its a wonder what they get away with calling 'finished product' these days.

An Irish doctor - I wonder where they are

    The M50 - its just a wonder.

The Irish climate - we don't have seasons, we just have 'The Weather'.

    Mary Harney.

Being from Carlow, i'd have to mention the Browne's Hill Dolmen (heaviest capstone found in Europe)

    Cliffs of Moher.

    New Grange

    The Burren

    The Shannon

Spire(I've always wondered why we spent over 4 million euro on an extra long lamppost)

Dublin Bus (Because you're always wondering when the next one will come)

    Newgrange

    Rock of Cashel

    Monaincha near Roscrea.
It's the 31st in the world, so has to be within the top 7 of the country ;)

Oh, and I'd rate Slieve League ahead of Cliffs of Moher....

    Dun Aengus on Inis Mor

Edit: This ok OP? Technically not on the island of Ireland

I've been there twice. An absolutely gorgeous place. Given the age and significance of it, I'd stick it in as number one on the list. :)

Don't the 7 wonders of the world have to be man made? In which case the natural landsacpe features people have mentioned on this thread would not qualify.

You're looking at this from the wrong angle though. Blame Westlife/Boyzone, not Dun Aengus!

I heard Dublins urban sprawl was in the running for one of the seven spots. They were wondering why the Irish can't build up ?

Haaaaah! Only the Irish could pretend that a beach on the north atlantic in a hellhole like Donegal was comparable to mauritias. Some poor bastard must have been camping up there for years waiting for the sun to come out.
