is my macbook 64bit or 32bit???

im trying to install vista through Parallels on my C2D macbook. i got the macbook in january and i was under the impression that it was 64bit..... (ready to roll with leopard in OCtober!!)

when it first "boots up" in Parallels to instll from the disc it says some along the lines of "incompatible processor... must be 64bit"

anybody know if the software is wrong or if i just do only have a 32bit macbook???

could it be the version of windows you are trying to install is not 64bit compatible? I think your Macbook is 64bit. Otherwise i would say check you have the latest version of parallels.

No, it says it's Vista Ultimate 64-bit...

i might try to install with bootcamp and see if i have any luck..

yeah bootcamp would be the way to do this - parallels doesn't support 64-bit yet

A note to the OP: iirc, Leopard is/will be compatible with both 32-bit AND 64-bit Macs. None of this Ultimate-edition OS gaff
