Strike Team

Fellow Brothers. This afternoon we witnessed one of our regulars (IrishBird) being viciously taunted and slagged in After Hours for innocent remarks made regarding mental health and orgies. For this reason I have decided we need to form a Strike Team.A team that will strike fear into the hearts of those who dare to assault members of BGRH. A team that will descend quickly on any thread that this occurs in, and hand out swift verbal beatings to all those involved.

Brother Smashey is already with me. Who else is going to grow a pair of balls and sign up for this once in a lifetime oppurtunity???

I will whole heartedly join this strike team so I may uphold irishbird's honour and my first action is to throw myself, ninja style, on my own sword for attacking our fair maiden in the thread in question.

May my soul go to Beer Gut and Receeding Hairline Heaven, where the beer trees are always in bloom and pink shirts are nowhere to be seen.

Excellent, now we have 6 members. Do we need some cool transport a la "The A Team" or will we just randomly appear in the thread, ready to dispense keyboard justice on those who have wronged our members??

Yeah, I think transport might be in order. A couple of 'A-Team'-style vans, perhaps an old 1970's brown Ford Granada (for that 'Sweeney' look), a silver 1983 Ford Capri (for that 'Professionals' look)* and any other cool vehicles we can muster together.

* I really shouldn't have looked at that 'Sweeney' thread in All Things Retro earlier today!

wouldn't dream of calling myself a member, but actually do have a 1970's ford granada to donate to the worthy cause. will just 'borrow' my dads on the qt.

Gettin away from Al Bundy..... Once we have enough members, we will decide a plan of action. This act that occurred this afternoon will indeed incur the wrath of the BGRH Strike Team. Planning will need to be done, but it may involve taking the fight to AH, exacting revenge on Pighead and all those who were involved.

I am admirably qualified ... weighing in at 125 Kilos, I am a 1st Dan Judoka and more importantly, I have several string vesty tank-tops

and my next door neighbour has a camoflage Transit van we can borrow (it has St. Donagh's Freedom Fighters spray-painted on, but it's quite the chameleon)
