    Hi there,

I'm think of investing in an Apple AirPort Extreme basestation to connect to my MacBook. I already have a wireless router but like the idea of being able to wirelessly connect to printer and external hard drive using the Airport Extreme. Are there any other advantages of the Airport extreme over my existing wireless router?

Is it possible for example to connect the dongle for my wireless Logitech keyboard/mouse to the Airport extreme and thus easly use the Logitech keyboard/mouse when I'm at my desk (ie save me having to plug in the USB dongle everytime).

    Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about the keyboard/mouse, I doubt it would work though. I have an airport express, i have the speakers in the kitchen plugged into it and any pc/mac/laptop running itunes can play music wirelessly to those speakers. It really is one of the best bits of gadgetry I've bought in years. Not sure if the extreme has the itunes feature though.

I Don't use the printing too much but it is handy every now and again (printer's downstairs by my dad's mac and my mac is in my room!)
