yes but my advice would be to do a test or two with small amounts. wonder why a bank here cant setup something similar. with 3v in "decline" it would be popular imo.

    ............then again this is Ireland:rolleyes:

Yes, they might end up giving a good product at a reasonable price. That wouldn't do, would it?

chatmaster you will need your 365 login details for verification then give them the name (wirecard) account number (77073371) sortcode (90 07 03 ) and the reference should be your wirecard account number and 5 days later you should be up and running. I sent them through a tenner yesterday as a test to see if it all works. advise you do the same!
Oooh class. I'll do that Monday. Thanks!

Also, I got his info in an email:
Unfortunately, you can't use "direct debit" in order to fund your Wirecard
account. This option is only available for german and american customers.

You can utilize numerous payment methods in order to deposit funds into your
Wirecard account. Transfer funds worldwide into your own personal Wirecard
account - via an international SWIFT wire transfer or transfer the funds into
one of the local correspondence accounts of the Wirecard Bank in 14 countries.
In selected countries we also offer you the possibility to load your account
via direct debit (ACH) or credit card.

In order to deposit money into your account, select the "DEPOSIT MONEY" menu
item. The various deposit methods can be selected on the subsequent page.

We would like to inform you that the Wirecard account and the virtual
MasterCard cannot be used for gambling purposes, online gaming/poker, or
sportsbooking. The Wirecard Bank AG will at all times prevent usage of your
    Wirecard MasterCard on such websites.

Usually your virtual MasterCard allows you to purchase at millions of online
or mail-order companies worldwide where Mastercard is accepted. It might be
that some merchants require a certain verification of a new registered credit
card before you can use it. Please contact Paypal directly for further
information informing them that you are using a virtual MasterCard.
This was in response to an odd question. And, I never mentioned Gamling lol.

Anyone buying the €20 3V vouchers and getting the "free" €5 and then transferring it directly to their Wirecard account?

It's very handy if you are in a hurry. One odd thing I do notice though is that I can't transfer the whole €24 (the amount left after the €1 charge)....it has to be €23.99. Strange!

3V does seem to be in trouble though....the current offer is a bad sign and its getting harder and harder to find places doing them.

well no sign of my tenner this evening but as the weekend didnt count it will probably be tomorrow......i hope:D

    Lol That's clever.
When you get a €20 voucher does that mean when you go to 3v's site and view your transactions and balance it will show €25?

you'll be lucky! when did you transfer it again?

yep bout 6pm on friday. i guess they just look at the days payments into the account at close of business and credit the cards from that. It does introduce a human factor though so fingers crossed:D

regards 3v i would guess certain people have made a nice packet from it and are now sitting back. the list on the website is a joke. in my area of the 3 listed 2 dont do it anymore (since february!) and the third is closed down 6 months!

well checked my account this morning no luck. Checked this evening and its there! thats only marginally slower then a direct boi to boi transfer. quite impressed but i'm going to be sending small amounts for a time until i gain some confidence. Have started the paypal expanded use procedure. Paul Savory Ax i sent it bout 6pm on friday evening.

the attitude of 3v is typical of nowadays imo. Rang twice emailed 3 times to find out about local retailers. promised a response of course nothing materialised. woman on the phone could hardly speak english.

6pm Friday by online banking? That was fast! Its generally in the evening that the amounts show up. Wish they would send an email when the amount is credited to save checking up all the time.

3V customer care is appaling. It was quite good at the start but now they seem to have farmed it out to non English speaking foreigners probably in timbuktu. Yes thats right I remember emailing customer care at the start of 3V and always always getting an irish sounding name replying. Now its Lars or something like that (and it takes an extra 4 days to get it)

Im trying to add them to my banking 365 account now too. On the wirecard website it says , "Within the Euro zone please utilise a standard EU wire transfer. For this you need your IBAN (International Bank Account Number) as well as the Bank Identifier Code (BIC) of the Wirecard Bank."

So do you have to use the iban and bic numbers

niallo no you cant use iban and bic on 365 online. read my post above the local accounts list on the wirecard website. basically they have a boi account in dublin and you just set that up on 365. be warned it will take a full 5 working days for them to setup. must be using 300bps modems:D

You can lodge up to €300 a week to a total of €2500.If you exceed either of these figures you will have your account frozen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 685 ✭✭✭jackbauer

does that mean I can lodge money and use it up to a maximum of €2500 at any one time at a max of €300 per week?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,472 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

Excatly. Once it hits €2500 they freeze the account.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 685 ✭✭✭jackbauer

right thanks.probably worth getting the ball rolling on the verification asap.

I rang up BOI to set up the beneficiary thing around 8 or 9 Tuesday evening and did a transfer while i was on the phone to them .The money went in today around one o clock and ive already made a purchase off ebay . I'm pretty happy with it :D

I’ve registered and got my Wirecard account. Still have to make a deposit. I’ll probably make a lodgement from BOI. Few questions though. From what I’ve read here, I just make a lodgement in a branch with my Wirecard account number as the reference number. Do I have to go to the bit on the website and enter the details beforehand? Someone said this was all explained on the site, I can’t find it, can anyone point it out where this is? Anything else I left out or should know?

Thanks for the info Bond, looks like I'll have to start the verification process asap. Has anyone done it yet?, how much does the limit go up to(deposit limit and annual limit?)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,472 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

There are no limits once you are verified.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 747 ✭✭✭EyesOnly

hmm i got the pdf's from them but how do you fill in the Konto_Antrag_Wirecard_englisch.pdf ? im no good at filling in forms :/

e.g what do i put in Type of account? do i tick account holder, for Account no./ safe custody
account no.3 (Invoice no.) do i put my acc no. ?

and Account/ safe custody account currency (Euros)?

anything after Internal bank data/filing data: is for them to fill?

I had to fill in one the other day. I didn't fill in the parts that said "Internal bank data" as I presumed that was similar to how we would see "Office use only" on forms. We shall see in time.

Anyone else ever fill these forms? I'm wondering how long it takes to sort out. My brother had put 800eur into his Wirecard, and of course that exceeded the 300eur limit, that for some reason, isn't mentioned on their site (from what I can see), so his funds are frozen. I dunno how he can go about a refund either, though he does still have the stamped stub from the deposit slip.

For the 365 Online transfer, you are transferring to Wirecard's Dublin account or are you transferring to their German one?

I called BOI and confused them and myself Lol. They said I need to call into the branch to create a transfer thing for a foreign account.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 685 ✭✭✭jackbauer

dublin account. as i said earlier you cannot use 365 for foreign payments.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,472 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

NO! Put in more than €300 a week or if your balance reaches €2500, your account will be frozen.

just signed up for my account and added the wirecard dublin account to my account list on aib24 and deposited €10 to test.
This seems a real handy thing for net purchase. Use the debit card in real life and the credit card for virtual transactions.
If it works as good as people here say :D days
