The Northside Shopping Centre ad

What a work of genius. Even Ian Dempsey recited a bit of it one morning - and I don't think it's even a Today FM client. It's an institution really. I'm from Cork - only in Dublin the last couple of years. But even I knew it before I moved up. Truly art at this stage. Must be doing the rounds about 25 years by now?
The Cork equivalent: "Wi-ilton Centre: the very best of everything" - not a patch on it.

"Northside *boom boom*. Northside *boom boom*. The great big shopping centre." As I said, art.

That's my local shopping centre...

Absolutely hate the place.... but I've grown up with the jingle and it has a very special place in my heart... May it never change!

I remember hearing it as a kid in 1975.
