If you're referring to: http://www.pilottraining.ie/ then I have to say the prices are a little high. I trained in Waterford for a while in the club for my ppl and it was fine. The training college is new enough looks ok but for the same price I'd consider Spain or SA because at least you're guaranteed the weather which lets face it - you're not in Waterford.
Remember you really need to have a type rating if you want to join an airline which is not part of that "Airline Pilot Training Programme"

Yes i am referring to http://www.pilottraining.ie. You must excuse my knowledge in Aviation. Can u explain to me what a type rating is? why is it need?
I have considered going to South America to learn but im also aware that the courses will be in portuguese and all the examinations.
What kind of prices are u looking at for the "Airline Pilot Training Programme" training there??

    Cheers.
