    Does anybody use any company they can recommend that supply a us address for package forwarding. I know alot of the boards members used to use shopthestates but they've closed and was hoping someone might have some experience with another company??

    havent used them, but try www.myus.com they even have a US cc card service apparently.

    that site was recommended by the sunday times a little while ago...

    if you use it, let us know how you get on!

    edit : upfront charges of $50 - joining fee $35 plus 1 months "membership" $15 (12 months=$132)
    a 1kg package would cost $24.50 approx to ship. + $8 for a commercial invoice, which is compulsory for all shipments outside USA - they will quote the wholesale rather than the retail value tho', so if customs do require duty to be paid, it should reduce the amount.
