Best thing I've heard in a while - I've been laughing all day in work since I heard this.

They were doing interviews in my friend's workplace today. Part of the interview was to give a powerpoint presentation. One of the guys hooked up his laptop to the projector or whatever but instead of hitting the powerpoint file icon, he clicks on something a bit racier - A pretty raunchy adult video!! :eek: What ensued was a pretty frantic few seconds of searching for the x on top corner of the screen. I'd imagine it's difficult to find in that panic!! But fair play the fella - he found the correct file and continued on with the interview.

I don't know about you but I would have left the laptop behind and just legged it.

Must find out if he gets the job :-)

In fairness, you'd have to be fairly stupid to have anything like that anywhere near your presentation for an interview

. If your friend was not doing the interview process, they must have it slightly funny for it to get around the office. Let us know if he gets the job, if he does, he will never live it down, so he might refuse it and walk away.

No, real deal. What's worse is that is that it was one of those offices with glass walls so the people outside on the main floor could see what was goin on!

this happpened to a lecturer in ucc once that i know of.

plugged in his laptop to show a video through the projector and the media player just continued playing the last video.

Members of staff have successfully sued for sexual harassment after being exposed to porn in the workplace in the past... so I really can't see them hiring someone who keeps it on their desktop when delivering presentations.

Sure there was even a successful sexual harassment case not too long ago involving one of those pens with a picture of a lady on it whose clothes fall off if you turn it upside down.

I remember doing final year prenstations and one lad need help with it as he didn't know his arse from his elbow when it came to computers.

Each person had to submit a cd as a record for the presentation and then there own for use in the presentation.

The hole cd was full of porn all entitled more or less the same as his presentation.

All the icons were thumbnails. He had great fun trying to find the presentation has face began to match the colour of his hair
