Line 6 toneport

Hi there, I got a line6 toneport recently and there is a very strange popping noise that occurs every few seconds. It's a very harsh noise. Anyone experience anything similar? I was thinking it may be my computer spec. My processor is fine I think but I think I fall a bit short on the RAM. Would this cause this popping…

latency/buffer etc perhaps. check your software settings if that could be the issue.
