DVD recorder recommendation for use with Sky+?

Look for a good DVD recorder to take output from Sky +

Any got any recommendations ?
I am not looking at HDD models as I presume there is no additional advantage to Sky+.

they will all work with sky+, its just a scart input. advantage of having a HDD means you can take out the ads before putting it onto disc, and other editing etc.

i have a pioneer now, and i had a panasonic before that. both excellent machines.

buy a dvd recorder.

connect the dvd recorder and sky+ box with a Scart cable.

then play the program from sky+ into the dvd recorder.

boom. done.

i have the Pioneer DVR-545H, excellent machine. although im thinking of updating it for a new Panasonic one, the DMR-EX77 (160GB) or DMR-EX87 (250GB)

they're both savage machines
