Have you ever been Banned?

    So just curious, have you ever been banned from anything on boards? See loads of people complaining over in Feedback, so don't want to hear any of the following:

    1. it was wrong
    2. the mod's a dick
    3. unban me now or i'll get my friends to mock you
    4. Cat pictures

    What i am interested in is people who'll admit freely to been a bit on the naughty side, what'd ye do? And what was the sentance?

    I'll start, I'm clean as a whistle, 500 posts and no bans...

    Does that make me unpopular like those kids in school who never missed a day and got letters from the lord mayor? :(

    Banned once from soccer for calling Paul Jewell an arsehole.

    Ban was for one week.

    I was inspired to draw a picture for the 'Describe Your First Sexual experience with MSPaint' and I drew a dog licking a guys balls and posted it in 'Know Your Nerds' for some reason.

    I was banned for a week for jumping the gun on my mod status. I ran my mouth a bit with threats I couldn't back up.

    Well I took my weeks ban and it felt good. I reflected on what I had did and I've kept my nose clean since and I'd advise the rest of you to do the same.

    Why not, been awhile since last thread like this.

    I was banned once in Computers for linking to copyrighted material (a movie someone had ripped from a DVD). I begged and pleaded and the good mod let me back in again after a day in the cold.

    I believe I am still banned in the Gigs & Events forum. I inadvertently mentioned something I shouldn't have. It weren't intentional guv'nor honest and as far as I remember I was going out of my way not to say the thing it was that I must have said but wasn't supposed to say.

    Must PM the mod and see what the story is with getting back in there.

    AH ban once and i'm also one of the lucky ones to survive a site ban too [don't ask ;)]

    Banned for life from rugby because i said that Munster hammered Leinster in the Heineken Cup semi-final at Lansdowne Road on Sunday, April 23 2006.
    Finial result was Munster 30 Leinster 6.

    Banned from Paranormal (seems to be permanent): for taking the piss out of "online readings" by comparing it to the little sigs people have that tell you your IP address.
    Pfff, someone should have warned me beforehand ala Minority Report. :rolleyes:

    I got banned for a week for some ridiculously mild Leinster v Munster remark too.
    Oh and we were hammered that day ;)
