Hey, came upon this while aimlessly surfing.

Is this real? Site looks ridiculously amateur and since when is Miss Ireland decided by text voting? Hasn't eurostar (or whatever that cr@p was called) and the like not proven that text voting won't necessarily get you the best result!!!:eek:

Oh, and yes, because she has a lot of fans on boards, I may as well mention that Georgia Salpa (FAS Girl) is apparently one of the finalists.:D

Apparently the text vote just gets one of them through straight through to the final 10. presume the rest is decided by judges or whatever, i think. Only read details cos i know Georgia (aka FAS girl apparently) n i've been gettin messages tellin me to vote

It would have to be Miss Limerick or Miss "Heart & Soul" for me.

It's strange though. For what is supposed to be a competition of the hottest girls in Ireland, they are all only "nice" - no one outsanding (or maybe it's just me). I know lots of girls who would be more attractive (and arguably better personalities, seeing as they are not models;)).

miss heart and soul by a country mile, the rest are pretty much meh - i still would for most of em, but it's miss ireland, i'd expect better.
frankly the ones from sligo and cork wouldnt get a second look on a night out.

miss heart and soul is the classiest by a mile, i went out with miss brewery bout 8 years ago when we were kids, and met her recently in the street, the first thing she said to me was 'i'm going for miss ireland,vote for me' (she you'st to be a nice girl now a muppet)

wouldn't mind giving your one from fas a shot too, stumbled accross her bebo page recently, what a rack!;)
