Hey all, I recently bought a transit van(not quite a classic) but was hoping some of you would have some experience of rebuilding the chassis. After pulling up the old plywood floor I discovered alot of the rear floor(around the wheel arches) had been replaced with aluminium and beneth that parts of the chassis was soft with the rust.
Any ideas who could patch this up, would I be looking for crashed car repairman, mechanic, engineer etc..??
Any advice appreciated, Im in the Cork area by the way.
    Murray

It's the difference between the value of the van and cost of repairs... your local body shop, accident repair can give you an estimate... get ready for a shock.
