OK I don't mean this in a disrespectful way at all...

With the current situation of the missing girl in Portugal, someone told me that a lot of people (families) are cancelling holidays, hence proces of holidays are dropping.

Is there any truth to this rumour? I'd love to go on a holiday anywhere (Would be glad to get to Portugal for a week or two during the summer)

It's already one of the cheapest places in Europe you could possible go to (food/acc/transport).

Just avoid the southern part of the country.

    Why?

Because it's the center and northern part of the country thyt's cheap.
The southern section is just like any tourist resort price-wise.

To be honest, I doubt that many families are cancelling their holidays as a result of Madeline McCann. It could've happened anywhere. Parents just have to be more vigilant.

Forgot that was in Portugal and was kind of wondering why the holidays were a good bit cheaper then anywhere else for the same dates.
