    Gotta support Maxwell too. Very good normally IMO even if he seems to love himself a bit too much. I still laugh remembering his Gerry-Adams-stopped-by-a-Brazilian-PSNI from last season

    You gotta love Maxwell and Delamare. Saw both of them doing live shows before, they're genuinely funny.

    Am I the only one that finds that maxwell guy incredibly annoying and totally unfunny.
    No I'm with you, I cant stand him. He seems to hold up a lot of the show while he goes off on a tangent. The only current panel member that is keeping the show anyway decent is Neil Delamare. Karl Spain is deeply unfunny and Murphy is full of nervous laughter.

    Is Dara gone for good then?

    there obvioulsy purposefully doing a serious bit at the end, maxwell is very paul mertonish, throwing random diversion when it gets quiet I thought he was spot with his bertie impressions last week.

    I don't mind ed byrne at all, he's funny like.. The one annoying thing is the token female they have every week.. They're always constantly crap and mutter 2 or 3 prepared things and thats it... The only good women on it were Pauline McLynn, cos she's quite funny, and Aoibhínn Ní Shúilleabháin, cos she's no idiot and she's all sorts of yummy...

    Mairéad Farrell is only funny on the radio and that one Tara-Loughley-Grant (?) was anonymous, didn't say a feckin thing...

    I used to be a fan of The Panel, I stress 'used to'. This election "special" that they're running at the moment is rubbish. I switched off two-thirds of the way through last weeks show as it bored the hell out of me. Maxwell and Delamere are the best on it, everyone else could be replaced with no loss to the show. Murphy seems like a nice guy but can't anchor a show like the panel. He doesnt seem to have many of his own jokes either by that I mean he just tacks his own
    (un)funny part on to someone elses joke, at least thats how it seems to me.
