Rogers Waters Live the point May 07

From the description of the show above it will be the exact same show as in Cork. A bit more variety would be nice.
The Cork show was definitely one of the best concerts I'v seen, power cut and all. He got an amazing reception from the crowd at the end.
Worth €100 imo but still expensive

i actually forgot that the tickets went on sale today, ah well, manchester and stockholm will have to do instead... WUPPAH!!

Don't think so, they've been on sale a while, the stockholm gig went on sale at the start of november.

Been looking forward to it ever since it was announced now I may not be able to make it ,hoping to get there though. If not may be stuck with spares.

you will probably have to park a good bit away from it, dont use the car park in the point, you will be all night trying to get out of it!!!

Andy Fairweather Low and Snowy White were certainly blasts from the past! I thought Fairweather Low was Elvis Costello when he appeared with the hat.

The backing singer's (name?) wailing on 'Great Gig' was top class - identical to Torry's original.

I thought 'Heart of the Sun' was marred by all the latecomers trying to find their seats.

Was that snowy white? I know he was there the last time woger played the point but i didnt recognise him last night. And what about the richie blackmore lookalike?

"time" was savage and the vocals from yer wan on "perfect sense" were excellent but i always think the syd images during "shine on.." are a bit tacky

genuinely the best gig i've ever seen. And i was expecting to be dissappointed.
Serious value for money what with all the lasers, flying pigs and the like.

Was very very good - historic moment to hear all the Floyd big hitters.
Sound wasn't too bad either, a bit boomy and brash (esp. the effects) up front where we were. Band were very good and have such a history behind all of the them (from Thin Lizzy to Clapton). Special effects weren't too over-the-top and the visualisations were generally very good. Thought the laser effects were a bit weak. As expected, the flying pig made an appearance.

Audience were good too, no messing noted up front. Uppers seats on left side a bit flat until the end.

Was there myself. Brilliant gig. I was expecting it to be more visual but it was just right. Roger was on great form and his band were class. I sometimes wished Roger would sing all the songs, instead of his keoboys. But all in all, magic.

Also, did anyone think the backdrop/graphic during Leaving Beirut was a bit sappy? 'These people have nothing and they share what they have..'. Ahhh..

Yeah brilliant gig, for me the worst part was the Beiruit song, graphics really annoyed me, went to the bar, all in all very good
