What do you hope happens in the finale? [**POSSIBLE SPOILERS**]

Eko, Nikki and Shannon all walk out of the jungle and Hurley will go, "Dudes, You're all supposed to be dead!" and then Eko will say something cryptic like "We never died, we were reborn!" and then Locke will go, "It's the Island, it has special powers. Welcome back guys!" and then Jin will go, "Wait a minute, what about Boone and Ana-Lucia and Libby and Arzt and Paulo?" and then Charlie will go, "Jin you speak English?" and then Jin will go, "Obviously, but that's not important right now, what about Boone and the others?" and then Shannon will go, "They were kidnapped, we escaped!" and then Sayid will go, "Kidnapped by the others?" and Nikki will go, "No, not the others, someone else." Then Sawyer will go, "Any idea who?" and then Ben will go, "Ceberus!" and then Claire will go, "Who's Ceberus?" and then Juliet will go, "The Monster" and then Kate will go, "Would you care to elaborate?" and then Tom will go, "Ceberus was a Dharma experiment gone wrong, It was intended to be a security system, but something went wrong and it developed a mind of it's own. If it captured you're friends, they won't escape without our help, but they're still alive, Ceberus doesn't kill," and then Jack will go, try telling that to the Pilot," and Eko will go, "The Pilot isn't dead Jack. That was merely an illusion, as were are deaths. He is with Paolo, Boone and the others who we believed were dead," and then Desmond will go, "What the hell are you talking about brothers? This is insane!" and then Hurley will wake up and realise that the entire conversation was a dream jsut before he hears an explosion in the jungle, he runs out of his tent and looks towards the jungle, as the rest of the Losties join him. "Dude, what was that?" Hurley asks and Locke calmly replies, "That is Rousseau. It's her signal. Get ready. The Others are coming. We must fight." No sooner has he finished this sentence than the Others arrive and a Lord Of The Ring type battle unfolds. Ben, Rose, Charlie, Jack, Rousseau, Sun, Naomi, Tom, Juliet, Sayid, Kate, Bernard and the majority of the other characters are all killed in the battle. Sawyer, Claire, Jin, Desmond, Hurley and Alex are the only survivors don't even have a second to mourn before they see a plane falling apart in the sky and coming straight towards the island. All 6 survivors look up and Sawyer says; "Here we go again!" Screen fades to black and series 3 is over. That's my prediction.

The sonar beacon is only used to bring subs IN to the Island, it has nothing to do with contacting the outside world. Thats what the flame was for. There is no power on the Island anymore due to the suposed EMP and there is no way to get supplies to the Island to fix the equipment meaning contact with the outside world is impossible.
