If a certain hero had a certain Power......?

Say theres a Hero like the kid from X3 that their power is that they supress other heroe's powers

If Peter went near this person, do you think he wouldnt be able to absorb it because:

1] his true empathy powers are suppressed
2] He does absorb it, causing himself to constantly supress all his other aquired powers
or 3] He learns to use it without affecting himself

Just somethin random Ive been thinkin about.....

Well the Haitian can do something similar and so far we've seen no evidence that Peter has absorbed his powers. It's probably not possible because Peter's power to absorb would be nullified by the Haitian, unless that Haitian wanted him to get it.

The Haitian's power doesnt seem involuntary...if at any point he were nullifying someone else's power and didn't know Peter was nearby (Invisibility, anyone?) he could potentially sponge the Haitian's ability.
