I'd have more sympathy for her if she wasn't so rude.

She actually sounds fairly lucid and earnest... but she clearly has issues.

It is interesting how much she gets around though.

Actually I don't and I know what you mean, I was 'speaking' rather loosely and not in the frame of mind that it might potentially 'hurt' someone.
As Monkeyfudge pointed out though, she is quite the experiance, rude and very very intense and in your face.

When I was working in retail, I used to love it when people came in talking sh!te. Killed a bit of time and it was a story to tell the lads when I got home from work.

Have you even bothered to look in to her claims? There is an overwhelming amount of evidence to support what she was saying. I've heard about this conspiracy, and I have to say, I believe it.

I actually met a lady about 2/3 years ago at Sandymount DART station, kind of like that Kiwi/Australian woman that the OP was taking about.
As far as I remember, she was Irish, early 30ish, with brownish hair, she looked pretty normal from what I remember.
I was sitting by myself at a bench listening to my iPod waiting for the train when she came along, sat beside me and started talking to me.

She said that she noticed that I had an electronic music devise and wanted to warn me of technological dangers....I thought she was going to nick my precious ipod!
But she went on and on, talking about technological conspirosies, how the American Gov is watching us all, how people are trying to steal her identity and that there are secret cameras all over the city watching her and many others.... She asked me if I had a mobile phone and said that the government is listening into all of our calls and what we are doing on the net.
She said that she felt it was her duty to warn other young women that this could happen to us too, if we use phones, net etc...

She was rambling and ranting until the train came and sat down next to me until I got to Connolly.
I tried to ask her some more info, like did she work for the government or something, but she clammed up a bit and gave me some website address, which i forgot, which is all about this technological government conspirocey..

Was an interesting train ride to say the least! Was wierd, because she looked respectable and was very well-spoken and articulate, but she was really freaking me out....never thought of that since until this thread reminded me of it!

That's the same woman alright.

The Australian accent isn't very strong, but it is there.
