they have probably added a 1/3 onto the price over a week ago and took it a way this week seeing how much of a rip off they are!

Most of there lcd's are there own brand ones (acoustic solutions) and BUSH and you wouldnt want to pay much for them in first place tbh. Check the uk site for a model u like and see if it comes up if u search it on the irish one (though there irish site doesnt seem to have much stuff listed)

Just bought an Acoustic Solutions LCD, 19inch, widescreen, dvi, vga, 1 scart etc and its HD ready! Only 201.49 in the Drogheda branch, down from 304 in the catalogue. Working good so far, easy to set up, build is quite nice although the remote is tiny and crap looking but all in all a good bargain. It wasn't advertised in store, saw it on an outside poster display, and there were about 12 left as of 4pm. Plus if you spend 200 euro you get a 10 euro gift card!

Picked up this 19 inch LCD TV/Monitor for €287 which was a good deal I think.

There is a current leaflet with amongst other things, tv's, some 1/3 off but they were probably overpriced by the same amount. :o

I bought a 26" Bush LCD there a couple of months ago. I don't think I'd recommend them (Bush) - we've had lots of trouble with ours. It was a great price - €400 is excellent for a HD LCD, but now I have the fun task of trying to get a replacement from them

Argos have the best return system of the lot.
You should have no problems with them.

That looks pretty good I have to say.
Might have a look at that over the weekend if there's any left.

Just noticed yesterday that Argos have this

    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5292181/Trail/C%24cip%3D49550.Sound%2Band%2Bvision%3EC%24cip%3D49579.Televisions%3EC%24Brand%3DHitachi.Hitachi.htm

Hitachi 32LD6600 32in HD Ready LCD TV reduced from E894 to E694 in their small "update" catalogue. Was still marked as E894 on the display model in the store, but came up as E694 when checking availability. Seems like a good TV from online reviews, anyone know whther it's worth buying?

I got the same TV 2 weeks ago for about €350 might drop over and talk to them about a refund of the difference.

Or I buy an TV and bring it back with the old receipt.
