Help needed configuring Pokerstars, Pokertracker and Pahud all together...

Sorry if this has been asked a million times before but I've only just got the Holdem Pokertracker and Pahud and I am wondering how to sync them up.

I have linked Pahud with the History file in the >program files>Pokerstars but all this does is gives me the stats for the game I'm in and if someone sits in that I have on pokertracker, Pahud is not recognising them and not giving me their stats from a previous session. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, what stats should I use? I'm planning on playing a lot of 6-max Holdem for a while.

Finally, can someone explain VPIP, total aggression postflop and a couple of the other common ones? I obviously understand their literal meaning but I want to know how to interpert them correctly... Sorry for being a nit about this stuff but I never used that side of it in Omaha - just the winners and losers and what position they leaked money from.

VPIP is by far the most important stat, its also the most accurate after a short amount of hands. For 6 handed. Anyone below 20 is very tight, 20 - 25 is tight, 25 - 30 is averageish (on the loose side), 30 - 35 is quite loose, over 35 will almost certainly be a big loser.
