cute shoes for wonky feet?

I'm really flat-footed and have to wear special orthoses in my shoes all the time. They raise my arches up quite high so that I can walk without looking like skippy the kangaroo. I usually wear boots or converse, but I really want some cute pumps to wear to work. Only problem is, every pair of shoes I've tried on are too low at the sides, so that the soles of my feet are higher than them and you can see my manky orthoses! Does anybody know of anywhere that does "deeper" shoes (especially ballet pumps) that I could wear? I'm a regular size 7 normal width foot kinda girl. I'm even considering getting shoes made for me, if anybody knows of a good shoemaker!!!
