The sound the monster makes

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but I was just re-watching 1x04, Walkabout. In the first flashback, Locke's boss tells him he needs reports and Locke starts entering data into the calculator. The sound it makes each time is the exact same sound as the monster makes.

Hmm.

I've always thought that the sounds the monster makes is the most important. Well there's nothing much else to it, as what it looks like isn't really important.

Is it just me or does anyone here helicopter noises? :P

Yeah but i don't think she was referring to the same sound as Faith has mentioned.

Was the noise only in ep's with Locke? Or other people also.

It was in loads of the episodes. Its not the first episode where Rose recognises the sound, its one of the later ones, maybe even season 2?

But it makes that dot matrix printing sound a lot, even sometimes behind some of the other sounds.

You can hear it in

the Paolo and Nikki episode too before the spiders get Nikki, like it's watching but not intervening.

Yep, Rose was referring to the roaring/howling noise it makes when knocking down trees.

Yeah exactly, thats the noise we hear alot less of. We only hear those noises when something bad is going to happen. I.E someone is going to die.
