    Dumb poll.

You put English, but not Scottish, Welsh & Northern Irish.

    Did you mean British?

Find me someone who has an English passport and you might get away with that poll option, it really should have been British though to be more accurate.

wore one during the world cup and on several occasions i was threatened by some dirty little scumbags.
once when i was in tramore, i was threatened with a broken bottle over wearing it.

not worth the hassle of thugs, but i still like to support my country like everyone else does.

di you notice so few shops are willing to sell an england jersey? but you can buy any other country jersey so easily.

Wow! The irish are running away with this poll - there's a shocker.

I wholeheartedly support you wearing your english jersey, these are different times, truth be told I find GSTQ, Rule Britannia and Football's Coming Home incredibly catchy.

thats terrible, shameful actually, but not the norm in Dublin, in London I've seen people flying Irish Flags from there houses and of course you will see football supporters at premiership matches with Irish flags, used to get looks years ago for jersey, but not really now, wear rugby jersey and my fav clothes dessigner is Hackett which has the st george's cross on its clothes, but with your experience I can see why it put you off.

I've only worn mine out in public a couple of times when matches were on during the world cup and still didn't feel entirely comfortable until I got to the pub and most people in there were wearing the same top.

I've seen a couple of people wearing the cricket tops though, but the ones I've seen are not as obviously English top to people that don't know.
